Question: How long does an order take?

Answer:

Items purchased from the Off-The-Shelf section of the shop will be shipped on the next postage day.

Items purchased from the main store and requiring customisation are usually ready to ship within 7 days but may occasionally take up to 2 weeks, especially during busy periods.

Private commissions take between 2 and 4 weeks. A more accurate estimate will be given once the requirements are known.

Postage is through An Post and usually takes 1-3 working days within Ireland and 6-9 working days to Europe.

Question: Can I return my order if I change my mind?

Answer:

Off-the-shelf products can be returned at the buyer's expense. A refund will be issued upon receipt of the returned item in a resaleable condition.

For obvious reasons, custom or personalised items are non-refundable and non-returnable. So please be 100% certain when submitting your order that all spellings, colour choices and picture choices are correct.

Question: How do I commission my own piece?

Question: How much is a private commission?

Answer:

The price may vary depending on the amount of work and detail involved in the piece but typically a 23x23cm piece will start at €90, the 30x40cm and 40x40cm pieces start at €150 and the 50x50cm pieces start at €250. Price will be agreed upon before the work starts so there won’t be any surprises. Visit the Commissions page (here) for details.

Question: What if my commission or customised piece is not as I expected?

Answer:

Don't worry, you'll be sent a proof or mock-up for approval for anything made for you. You'll know what your piece will look like before it arrives.

However, custom or personalised items are non refundable and non returnable. So please be 100% certain when submitting your order that all spellings, colour choices and picture choices are correct.

Question: Is it possible to update a family tree or family portrait?

Answer:

In many cases this is possible but it depends on your particular piece and what the update required is. Please contact me through the Contact Me page (here) and I will do my best to help.

Question: Do you ship to UK?

Answer:

Yes , but due to tax and VAT complications following Brexit you may be charged with a customs charge from HM Revenue and Customs authority which I have no control over.

Question: Do you ship to EU countries?

Answer:

Yes.

Shipping is with An Post and the cost is calculated at checkout based on order weight. All shipping is tracked and usually takes between 6-9 business days.
